iProledge vs Unacademy CS Executive: Real Cost and Module 1 Odds

The advertised price is the smaller part of the decision. A monthly rate only becomes a cost once you choose how long to study, and Module 1 has the lower pass rate. As of November 2026, Unacademy's Module 1 plans start from ₹2,619 a month (Plus) and ₹3,968 a month (Iconic) (Unacademy subscription page).

CS Executive has two modules (called groups before the 2022 syllabus): Module 1 and Module 2. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) reported that in June 2026 17.41% of candidates passed Module 1 and 22.19% passed Module 2 (careers360, compiled from ICSI's results).

We publish this page, so we are one of the two providers compared. It sets out what a buyer can check: total cost, language, format, support, and how to test either option before paying.

• For a CS Executive student who wants English-language classes and a person to call, we recommend iProledge: a ₹50,000 fee, with live online, onsite or blended classes.
• Unacademy's Module 1 monthly rate passes our ₹50,000 fee after 12.6 months on Iconic or 19.1 months on Plus (our arithmetic below).
• Module 1 had the lower pass rate in each of the four sessions from December 2024 to June 2026. Judge any coaching by how it teaches Module 1.
• Unacademy can suit you if you want a Hinglish batch or expect to study for only six to twelve months.

On the "starts from" monthly rates for Module 1, 12 months of Iconic comes to ₹47,616 and 18 months to ₹71,424. Twelve months of Plus comes to ₹31,428. The table below is our arithmetic: months multiplied by the monthly rate on Unacademy's plan page, as of November 2026. These rates are for Module 1 only; Module 2 is not priced here.

"Starts from" marks the lowest rate. Treat these totals as the least the monthly route can cost at that rate.

Break-even = ₹50,000 ÷ monthly rate (our arithmetic). That gives 12.6 months for Iconic and 19.1 months for Plus. It compares Unacademy's Module 1 rate with our ₹50,000 CS Executive fee, so confirm what each fee covers (test 2 below). After those points, a subscription costs more than our flat fee. The two fees buy different things, so compare what each includes as well as the price.

Whichever route you take, budget ICSI's own fees on top. ICSI's fee schedule effective 15 April 2026 sets the registration, education and exam fees. Confirm the amounts on ICSI's website before paying. Our CS Executive registration guide walks through the route.

Module 1 has the lower pass rate, so it is the half to test a coach on. ICSI's results for the four most recent sessions are in the table below.

The percentages are compiled by careers360 from ICSI's declared results, which ICSI publishes on its results page, and they match our own CS Executive pass percentage page. Our averages are the plain mean of the four percentages. They are not weighted by candidate numbers. Module 1 was lower in every session.

ICSI lists the papers in each module on its Executive Programme page.

These percentages cover all candidates in each module. They do not show which coaching a candidate used. So a provider's quoted CS Executive pass rate cannot be checked against ICSI's published data.

Our recommendation: spend your trial class on a Module 1 paper. Plan months from the exam window you are aiming for, not from the monthly price.

Run these seven tests on Unacademy, on us, or on anyone else.

1. Total cost test. Multiply months by the monthly rate, then add ICSI's fees. Pass: you can name the month count and the total. Fail: you only know the monthly rate.
2. Scope test. Ask in writing which module or modules the fee covers. Pass: the answer names Module 1, Module 2 or both. Fail: it is vague.
3. Teacher test. Ask who teaches your Module 1 batch. Pass: a named person, in writing. Unacademy's batch listings name different educators from batch to batch, so confirm the batch you buy.
4. Language test. Attend one Module 1 class. Pass: afterwards you can explain the concept aloud in the language you will write the exam in.
5. Doubt test. Send one real doubt through the provider's channel. Pass: you get a useful reply within that channel's response time. Our support channels commit to a call response within 5 minutes, WhatsApp within 30 minutes and email within 24 hours.
6. Material test. Check the study material edition against our CS Executive study material check. Pass: the edition matches your exam window.
7. Terms test. Ask for refund and switch terms in writing before paying. Pass: the terms are in writing. Fail: you only get a verbal answer.
