CA Coaching Near Me: Fees, a 10-Question Demo Scorecard and ICAI's Own Classes

CA coaching near me: compare Foundation and Inter fees with ICAI's ₹1,000 live classes, then score any institute with a 10-question demo checklist.

Key takeaways

  • The price gap between private coaching and ICAI's live classes is what you are buying: teacher-marked answers, a doubt channel with a stated response time, and in-person classes if you want them. ICAI's FAQ mentions neither marked answers nor a doubt-response time. Pay the difference only for the parts you will use.
  • As of October 2026, the full-course Foundation fees in our comparison run from roughly ₹25,960 to ₹53,100, with 18% GST added where a provider lists fees before it; shorter recorded batches cost less. The only published Inter fee we compared is ₹64,000 including GST (Aravindha Academy), so treat it as one data point, not a range.
  • Online is not automatically cheaper. At KS Academy in Bengaluru, face to face is the lowest-priced of the four formats it lists.
  • Ask for the refund rule in writing before paying anyone. ICAI's own live class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The price gap between private coaching and ICAI's live classes is what you are buying: teacher-marked answers, a doubt channel with a stated response time, and in-person classes if you want them.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) charges ₹1,000 for its own live virtual classes for CA Foundation, the entry exam taken after Class 12, according to its FAQ on live virtual classes, last updated 22 July 2026. Private coaching for the same exam costs many times that.

So the real question behind a search for CA coaching near me is what the extra money buys: a teacher you understand, answers that someone corrects, doubts solved the same day, a timetable you keep. A directory list of institutes with star ratings and phone numbers cannot tell you whether any of that is on offer.

This page puts published fees side by side, lists the Bengaluru centres and what each publishes, gives you a ten-question scorecard to carry to a free demo class, and shows how to decide between classroom coaching, live online classes and ICAI's own. It also shows where we, iProledge, fit and how our demo-first admission process works.

How much does CA coaching near me cost compared with ICAI's own live classes?

The full-course Foundation fees in the table below run from roughly ₹25,960 to ₹53,100, with 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) added where a provider lists fees before it. ICAI's own live classes cost ₹1,000, and recorded-only or exam-approach batches from private providers can cost far less than a full course (Smartlearn Educare lists one at ₹12,000 + GST). The only published Inter fee compared is ₹64,000 including GST, so it is a single data point. All figures are as of October 2026.

ProviderLevelFormatPublished fee
FoundationLive virtual classes₹1,000
ICAI Board of StudiesInterLive virtual classes₹1,000 per group, ₹2,000 for both (recorded only: ₹200 per group, ₹400 for both)

iProledgeInterLive online or onsiteTotal with GST confirmed in writing before you pay
FoundationGoogle Drive course (recorded)₹22,000 + 18% GST = ₹25,960
FoundationClassroom, 6 months₹29,500 including GST
InterClassroom, 9 months₹64,000 including GST
FoundationFace to face₹33,000 to ₹36,000 + GST = ₹38,940 to ₹42,480
KS AcademyFoundationOnline recorded₹36,000 to ₹39,000 + GST = ₹42,480 to ₹46,020
KS AcademyFoundationOnline live₹39,000 to ₹42,000 + GST = ₹46,020 to ₹49,560
KS AcademyFoundationGoogle Drive₹42,000 to ₹45,000 + GST = ₹49,560 to ₹53,100

iProledge publishes this page and is one of the providers in the table. We took every other figure from the provider's own course page or ICAI's FAQ in October 2026. Where a page lists a fee before GST, we added 18% ourselves (for example, ₹22,000 × 1.18 = ₹25,960 and ₹45,000 × 1.18 = ₹53,100). The Chennai rows are fee benchmarks, not local options for a Bengaluru reader; KS Academy is the Bengaluru comparison. Where a provider does not publish a fee, get the quote in writing.

As of October 2026, KS Academy shows a discounted and an original price for each format, for example ₹33,000 and ₹36,000 for face to face. Face to face is the lowest of its four formats, and online live costs more than recorded.

Foundation plus Inter coaching at the published fees above (our arithmetic):

  • Aravindha Academy: ₹29,500 + ₹64,000 = ₹93,500, GST included.
  • ICAI live classes: ₹1,000 + ₹2,000 = ₹3,000.

Aravindha's combined fees are about 31 times ICAI's live classes (93,500 ÷ 3,000 = 31.2). ICAI's registration fees, paid to ICAI on every route, are ₹9,000 for Foundation and ₹18,000 for both Inter groups, according to ICAI's FAQ on the new scheme. They are not in any figure above.

Is classroom CA coaching worth paying for, or are ICAI's live classes enough?

Pay for classroom or live coaching if you need teacher-marked answers, a doubt channel with a response time you can test, or in-person classes. ICAI's live classes already give you a live timetable, recordings, notes and assignments, and you can post queries during the session; its FAQ does not mention marked answer sheets or a response time for doubts. Choose ICAI's classes with self-study if you already finish a study plan alone. Both are legitimate; the fee gap only makes sense if the extra money buys something you will use.

ICAI's live classes run through its Board of Studies (BoS) Knowledge Portal and mobile app for students enrolled in the Foundation, Intermediate or Final courses. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, and a change of course or group is ordinarily not permitted after payment. Because ICAI's fee is small, it is a useful yardstick: before paying a private institute, name at least one thing the fee buys that those classes do not.

Our recommendation by situation:

  • Foundation after Class 12, new to accounting: a classroom or live batch usually earns its fee, because a fixed daily timetable matters most when the subject and the exam are both new. Our guide to CA Foundation coaching fees shows what the total should include.
  • Inter while you are still studying or working: under ICAI's rules, articleship (two years of practical training under a practising CA) starts only after you pass both Inter groups and complete a four-week course called the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS). Inter preparation therefore happens before articleship. Pick a batch that fits your college or job hours, and check how soon a missed class is recorded. Our note on live CA classes with recordings covers what to check about missed classes.
  • Disciplined self-studier: ICAI's recorded lectures (₹200 per Inter group) are the cheapest start. Add paid mock papers marked by a teacher if you find your own marking too kind.
  • CA Final: ICAI's live classes cost ₹1,500 for Group I, ₹1,000 for Group II or ₹2,000 for both groups. Many Final candidates study alongside practical training or a job, so give tests 5 and 6 (timetable fit and recordings) the most weight and ask for the recording-access end date in writing. We have not compared private CA Final fees here, so ask for a written quote and score it with the same ten tests.

Your local ICAI branch may also run regular classes of its own; the Northern India Regional Council does for Foundation. For a stage-by-stage view of classroom versus online batches, read our online and nearby CA classes checklist.

Why is a directory rating a weak way to choose CA coaching?

A directory rating shows that some students were satisfied. It does not show what you will pay, who will teach Paper 1, or what happens if you leave. Directory pages lead with stars and a phone number, and the fee is left to a call.

A list titled "best CA coaching in your city" cannot answer a question that depends on which teacher you follow. The fee is quoted verbally, and the refund terms come after you have paid. Result claims such as "100% success" rarely say which exam, which window or how many students sat.

The fix is to move the decision from the listing to the demo class. You attend a class, hear the teacher who will take your paper, and ask the same questions of every institute you compare. That is what the scorecard below does.

Which CA coaching centres are near you in Bengaluru, and what do they publish?

Start with the centres you can reach inside your commute window, then compare what each one puts in writing before you book a demo. As of October 2026, these Bengaluru providers publish the following on their own pages:

ProviderWhereWhat its page publishes
MalleshwaramFees for four formats, plus morning (8:15 AM to 12:30 PM) and evening (2:00 PM to 6:00 PM) class timings
IIC LakshyaBengaluru campusMorning (7:30 AM to 10 AM) and evening (6 PM to 8:30 PM) CA Foundation batches, and a total CA course fee range of ₹3.5 to ₹4.5 lakh with EMI options
Jayanagar and MalleshwaramGolden Batch (8 AM to 3 PM) and Regular Batch (4 PM to 7 PM); total with GST confirmed in writing before you pay

A star rating cannot tell you which of these fits your day. Shortlist two or three, book a demo at each, and score them the same way with the ten tests below.

What should you check at a free CA coaching demo class?

Run ten tests at the demo and score each pass or fail. Our recommendation: treat 8 or more passes as worth a second visit, and do not pay while test 1, 2 or 9 is a fail. Fix those in writing first.

Is the CA coaching fee given in writing, with GST?

Pass: one total that covers GST, study material, test series and recordings, with instalment dates. Fail: "call for fee", or a figure that changes after the demo.

Are the refund and course-switch terms written down before you pay?

Pass: the terms are in writing before payment, whether or not fees are refundable. Fail: the terms are vague or left for later.

Can you meet the teacher for each paper?

Pass: you get each teacher's name and qualification, and you can sit in that teacher's demo. Fail: "expert faculty" with no names.

Are batch size and class timings stated?

Pass: seat count and class hours are given in writing. Fail: no batch size is given.

Does the batch timetable fit your day?

Pass: a batch clears your college or job hours. Fail: you would have to skip classes to attend.

Are recordings available, and for how long?

Pass: you are told how soon a missed class is posted and how long access lasts. Fail: no recordings, or no stated validity.

Are mock papers marked by a teacher?

Pass: papers are scheduled, marked by a teacher, and followed by a score discussion. Fail: papers are handed out unmarked.

Is doubt clearing a named channel with a response time?

Pass: a named channel and a response time you can test in demo week. Fail: "ask anytime", untested.

Can you check the result claim?

Pass: a named student, exam window and marks, with the scorecard shown. Fail: a percentage with no exam, period or number of students. For scale, 98,827 candidates appeared in the CA Foundation September 2025 exam and 14,609 qualified, a pass rate of 14.78%, so a result claim should say how many of the institute's own students sat. Ours: Ashish Kumar passed CA Foundation in the first attempt with 296/400 in the September 2025 window, with results announced on 3 November 2025. Ask us to show it.

Does the fee buy something ICAI's classes do not?

Pass: you can name at least one thing ICAI's classes do not promise, such as in-person doubt solving, teacher-marked mocks or a doubt-response time. Fail: you cannot.

A short call script before you travel:

  1. "What is the total fee for Foundation or Inter, and does it include GST?"
  2. "What is the refund and course-switch rule, in writing?"
  3. "Can I sit in a demo with the teacher who will take Paper 1, or my paper?"

How do we handle the demo, the fee and the refund question at iProledge?

We put the demo before the fee. You attend a free demo class and a career counselling session before you join, because fees paid to iProledge are not refunded under our refund policy. Admission takes under 15 minutes once you decide. More than 15,000 students have trained with us, so put the ten tests above to us and ask for anything we have not listed here in writing.

Our CA Foundation coaching runs in two batches at our Jayanagar and Malleshwaram centres in Bengaluru: the Golden Batch (onsite, 8 AM to 3 PM) and the Regular Batch (4 PM to 7 PM, live online and onsite). Live online classes are open to learners across India. Ask for the total for your batch, with GST, in writing before you pay. You pay by UPI, net banking, credit or debit card, or an EMI plan.

Here is how we answer the tests:

  • Tests 1 and 2, fee and refund: we state the total, with GST, in writing before you pay, and the refund rule is the policy linked above.
  • Tests 3 and 4, teachers and timings: our faculty page lists the CAs and educators who teach, such as CA Varshith Gowda (CA, BCom) and CA Veeraj (CA, CMA). Ask us at the demo which of them takes each Foundation paper, and for the batch size. Class hours are above.
  • Tests 6 and 7, recordings and mocks: the Regular Batch combines live online sessions with recorded classes, and the Golden Batch includes recorded backup classes for missed sessions. Weekly tests and printed study notes are part of the course. Ask us how long recordings stay available, and who marks mock papers and how the marks are discussed.
  • Test 8, doubts: doubt-solving sessions and a personalised study planner are part of our support. Our call line answers within 5 minutes, WhatsApp within 30 minutes and email within 24 hours.

Platform content access is limited to one device per learner, and learners bear their own connectivity and equipment costs.

To book a demo, call us now on +91 90198 10080 (Jayanagar) or +91 87925 71811 (Malleshwaram), or contact us here.

Frequently asked questions

No. ICAI's live classes are paid: ₹1,000 for Foundation, and ₹1,000 per Inter group or ₹2,000 for both, according to ICAI's FAQ updated 22 July 2026.
Yes. ICAI's rules require registration, an eight-month study period and passing the exam, not coaching, and its recorded lectures cost ₹200 per Inter group. Coaching adds teacher-marked answers, a doubt channel with a response time and, if you choose it, in-person classes.
In our comparison of full-course batches, Foundation fees run from roughly ₹25,960 to ₹53,100, with GST added where listed separately. Shorter recorded or exam-approach batches can cost less, so judge any quote by what it includes in writing: papers covered, books, marked tests, access period and GST.
It can be, if you keep the schedule. Live online classes give a classroom's timetable and doubt clearing, while recordings alone give flexibility but no deadline. We run blended, live online and onsite batches, so you can compare them at the demo.
Start around the time you register with ICAI. You must register at least four months before the first day of the month of the exam you want to sit: by 1 September for the January exam, 1 January for May and 1 May for September. ICAI allows registration after Class 10, but you can sit the Foundation exam only after appearing in Class 12. The Foundation batches we checked run four to six months, so choose a batch that ends before your exam month.
No single institute is best for everyone. The best CA coaching near you is the one that passes the ten tests above at a demo class: a written fee with GST, named teachers for each paper, a timetable you can attend, marked mocks and a doubt channel with a response time. Shortlist two or three centres within your travel time and score each one the same way.
Ask for a named student, the exam window and the marks, then ask to see the scorecard. A percentage with no exam, period or number of students fails the check.
