To qualify for the CA Foundation course, you must have completed class 12 from an accredited school. Sign up through the ICAI website, providing necessary paperwork alongside a fee – typically between ₹9,000 to ₹10,000 if taking both sections, otherwise a reduced amount. Getting registered early helps with studies because it grants immediate access to learning resources.

You can now sign up for the May 2025 CA Foundation exam through the ICAI website – icai.org – but be sure to do so by January 1, 2025. It costs ₹9,000 for those in India; US applicants will pay $700. To qualify, students should register four months prior to the test alongside enrollment with the BoS, ensuring sufficient time for studies. Beginning June 2024, the CA Foundation test shifts to three yearly sessions – May/June, September, then January – thanks to changes from ICAI. If you want help getting ready, consider signing up for CA coaching classes Bangalore; they offer a clear path forward.
The updated ICAI timetable was first put to an exam in June 2024 and while it is possible to register for the CA Foundation exam throughout the year candidates should be mindful of the deadlines for each session.
