Before you start, have
- An accepted identity document, such as a passport, birth certificate, national ID card or driving licence
- Qualification certificate and transcript or marksheet if applying for the ACCA Qualification or exemptions

- An original-language document copy and stamped English translation if any document is not in English

Check your Indian entry route
Open ACCA’s India minimum-entry requirements. Direct ACCA Qualification entry from 10+2 requires five subjects, including English and Mathematics or Accounts, with at least two marks of 65% and the others above 50%. If you do not meet that rule, choose the Foundations in Accountancy route, which has no minimum academic entry requirement.
Gather the documents before opening the form
Use copies, not originals. For direct ACCA Qualification registration, collect qualification evidence, a transcript or marksheet that shows subjects and marks, accepted identity proof and a passport-style photograph. Add a licensed-translator’s stamped English translation alongside any non-English document.
Start and save the ACCA online application
Open ACCA’s application instructions and complete the online form. Enter any qualification details relevant to exemptions, then upload the document copies. ACCA says the application can be saved and resumed if you need to stop before submission.
Pay the registration fee and await student status
Complete payment by credit or debit card. ACCA’s India fee page lists a £89 one-time initial registration fee and a £140 annual student subscription for 2026. After application and payment, ACCA sends a processing email and says it confirms student status within five working days when the application is complete.
Choose the correct exam booking route
Wait until your student status is active and clear any outstanding ACCA fees. For a session-based exam, use MyACCA’s Exam Planner. For an on-demand exam, contact a licensed CBE centre directly to reserve and pay. ACCA lists India as a centre-based exam location.
Finish and verify the booking
For a session exam, use Exam Planner to add the exam, choose the country and city, confirm availability, select a date and centre, accept the terms, pay and click Finish. ACCA says the booking is not confirmed until Finish is clicked after payment, and the confirmation email arrives within 48 hours.
You'll know it worked when
Your ACCA student status is active and you either have a booked on-demand appointment with a licensed CBE centre or a MyACCA session-booking confirmation showing the exam, date and centre.
