CS Executive Exam Date: 21 to 28 December 2026 Timetable

The December 2026 CS Executive exam runs from Monday 21 December to Monday 28 December 2026, with no paper on Friday 25 December. Each paper starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 5:15 PM Indian Standard Time, including 15 minutes of reading time, and is written offline on paper (ICSI examination page).

The seven papers are split into two groups. Group 1 has four papers and Group 2 has three. The enrolment forms also call a group a "module" (ICSI enrolment manual). The schedule (ICSI; Business Standard):

The last two columns are our count from this timetable. For each paper, they show the whole days with no paper for you between it and your previous paper. The result is that five of the six gaps between consecutive papers for a candidate sitting both groups have no free day. Only 25 December separates two papers.

No. The form closed on 10 October 2026, 72 days before the first paper on 21 December. As of 14 October 2026 ICSI is not taking new enrolments for this session. The form opened in late August. Enrolment without a late fee ended on 25 September, and a ₹250 late-fee window ran to 10 October (ICSI).

The exam fee is ₹1,500 per group, so ₹3,000 for both groups (ICSI).

The pre-examination test is the ICSI clearance step a candidate must complete before the exam form is accepted. Its cut-offs came earlier than the form's: 24 September, or 9 October with a late fee, both at 5:30 PM.

Registration is a separate step from the form. Registration admits you to the programme, and the exam form enrols you for a particular session (Careers360 on CS Executive registration). A registration number alone does not put you in the hall.

Your next step depends on whether you filed the exam form by 10 October 2026. Find your row, as of 14 October 2026:

Confirm every deadline on the ICSI website and the ICSI SMASH student portal, where ICSI handles exam enrolment.

Four dates still sit between 14 October 2026 and the exam, plus the expected result.

• 20 November 2026: as of 14 October 2026, the last day to change centre, group or medium, at ₹250 per change (ICSI).
• Third week of November 2026: admit cards are expected. This date is tentative (Careers360). Carry a printed copy to the centre.
• 30 November 2026: the registration cut-off for both groups for the June 2027 session.
• 21 to 28 December 2026: the exam.
• Results: no date has been announced. The December 2025 results came on 25 February 2026 at 2:00 PM, followed by a marks-verification window from 26 February to 18 March at ₹250 per paper (Careers360). Our inference is that late February 2027 is the likeliest timing.

Plan your revision around the timetable's back-to-back papers, because there is no time to learn a topic between them. These are our recommendations.

• Both groups: finish revision for all seven papers before 20 December. Spend 25 December on a light read of Setting Up of Business, Industrial and Labour Laws only, and stop by evening.
• One group: use the two-day gap (24 and 25 December for Group 1, 25 and 26 December for Group 2) for your hardest remaining paper. Use the one-day gaps for formula and section-number recall.
• Practise at the exam hour: every paper starts at 2:00 PM, so write at least two full three-hour mock papers in that slot. Use the 15 minutes of reading time to choose and order your questions.

The next CS Executive exam after December 2026 is the June 2027 session. ICSI conducts the exam twice a year, in June and December. As of 14 October 2026, the June 2027 exam dates have not been published, so any page quoting them is guessing.

Two dates are already fixed. To be eligible for June 2027 with both groups, register by 30 November 2026. To sit a single group, register by 31 January 2027 (Careers360).

You then file the exam form on the SMASH portal, smash.icsi.edu, using your registration number. This part is our inference: the December form opened in late August, roughly four months before the exam, and closed 72 days before the first paper. If June 2027 keeps the same spacing, expect the form around February 2027 and a close in the second half of March. Check the ICSI website and the SMASH portal from the first week of February, and file on the opening day.
